Clinic Update Re: COVID-19 – March 27, 2020

Dear Patients:

Under the advice of multiple regulatory bodies in our respective healthcare fields, treatments at our physical locations will only be provided for acute/emergency cases and will be arranged on a case by case basis. This will be in effect as a precaution to help protect our clients, staff, and the community against the spread of COVID-19.  The timing of this will be updated as the situation changes.

  • Physical appointments that were scheduled between now and April 7th have been cancelled. Once we are able to re-open, we will contact patients to reschedule appointments. By April 7th, we will re-evaluate the situation and provide you with an update of whether the clinic will re-open or will need to remain closed.
  • Teleconsultations and/or Zoom appointments are available with some of our practitioners. Please contact us at info@duhc.ca or phone us at 416-598-4999 to schedule these appointments
  • Any patient requiring a renewal of their ongoing supplements can contact Dr. Rahima Hirji directly via email, drhirji@gmail.com, for arrangements
  • Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have — health or otherwise. General inquiries or questions can be sent to us via email at info@duhc.ca or via phone at 416-598-4999. Both will be checked frequently during the clinic closure. Some of our health practitioners may also be available to offer you support and advice via email or phone if there is an urgent issue.

And of course, please practice proper hygiene and social distancing that benefits you, your fellow neighbour, and our healthcare system’s ability to manage.

We appreciate your understanding and support during these challenging times. The situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve rapidly, and we will continue to actively monitor what’s going on.

Stay safe and healthy,

The Dundas University Health Clinic team
